The Heart Behind the School

Sometimes life gives you a moment so clear and undeniable that you just know you're in the right place, doing the right thing.

That’s what it felt like when a small group of parents and educators came together, all looking for something more holistic, more human, and more meaningful for our kids and our community.

Together, we bring years of experience in public and independent schools, curriculum design, social services, school leadership, and parenting. We’ve taught in progressive schools (and attended them), we’ve sat with parents who felt discouraged and overwhelmed, unsure where to turn when their child’s needs weren’t being met, and we’ve watched our own children light up when learning felt real and connected. We’ve seen what’s possible, and we know what it takes to create something different.

This is not a pipe dream. And it’s not some vague idea of “alternative” education.

It’s a legitimate, thoughtful vision of a school where children thrive emotionally, socially, and academically. And we’re building it right here in Sacramento.
